About us
We are a new, fresh association born from a merger of TV Wilhelmus and LTV BES. With more than 250 members and 25 courts, we are located at Sportcentrum Mariahoeve. Each spring and fall, more than 20 adult teams and 7 youth teams play league on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Fun is paramount and with many active volunteers, there is always something to do!
Activities
- Club night every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. (toss every half hour)
- Breakfast tournament (opening of the tennis season)
- Summer Leagues
- Midsummer night tournament
- Club Championships
- Bock beer tournament
- Après-ski tournament
B.C. Drop shot
BC Drop Shot is the oldest badminton club in the Netherlands and was founded on October 1, 1947. Sixty years later, not only have we produced three national championships and several Dutch champions, but we are also an association for recreational, youth and senior players. We offer plenty of playing and training opportunities for anyone who enjoys badminton.
We have much more to offer in addition:
- We offer beginning recreation members training at no cost.
- We select league players with sufficient commitment and motivation for additional training.
- We select talented youth for free additional training.
- We offer particularly talented youth the opportunity to train with the players of the first selection.
- We have very good trainers attached to our club.
- We do not use a hanging system.
- We don’t have a summer break.
- Shuttles are included with all practices.
