At Sportcentrum Mariahoeve, you can play padel indoors on our indoor courts.

Rackets are available for rent at the bar.
Rackets & Balls
No gear of your own? No problem!
At Sportcentrum Mariahoeve, you can easily rent a padel racket for €3.50 each.
Padel balls are available at the bar or shop and can be purchased starting from €6.95 per set.
Our sports centre also features a shop (Macaresport),
where you can purchase your own padel racket and other sports gear.
That way, you’ll always be well-prepared to hit the court!

Tennis lessons
At Sportcentrum Mariahoeve in The Hague you can take tennis lessons at any level. At our tennis school, we offer training for adults and children as young as 4 years old. You can choose from private lessons, duo lessons and lessons in a group of 4.
We offer 2 fixed lesson series, in the summer and winter seasons. These are weekly classes on the same day and time. See when classes start: Class Dates.
tennis Membership
Becoming a member with us can be done in 2 different ways:
- Through Sportcentrum Mariahoeve: Most players who do this have their own partners and don’t wish to join tournaments or competitions. We have a winter and a summer season. Registration is by season.
- Through the association T.V. Mariahoeve: You purchase membership through the association. You also get to know other people to play tennis with. They also organize tournaments, toss nights and competition.
Padel lessons
Erik van Galen
My name is Erik van Galen, I am 50 years old and have been playing padel with great enthusiasm for about five years. Before that, I played tennis for many years at Sportcentrum Mariahoeve. Recently, I completed my training to become a padel instructor, and I now teach several hours each week.
Lesson options
Would you like to get introduced to padel or improve your game? I offer both private lessons and group lessons (maximum of 4 players). In addition, I organize padel clinics: intensive sessions of several hours in a single day, suitable for both individuals and companies.
Costs & availability
The lesson fee is €50 per hour (incl. VAT), excluding court rental. During off-peak hours (08:00 – 16:30), court rental is more affordable. I am mostly available during the day.
